Ultra-Premium Home Theater
The AF115 combines ultra-high definition 1920 x 1080 (1080P) resolution and SXRD technology. Designed for the ultra-premium home theater the 300" capable AF115 makes every movie night an immersive experience. The AF115 produces more than 2 million pixels double that of traditional HD projectors and over 3 times more pixels than SD.
LCoS Technology
The AF115 employs three SXRD (LCoS) imagers - one for red, green, and blue which produces rich, vibrant colors and eliminates the "rainbow effect" found in DLP imagers. SXRD (LCoS) imagers are superior to both DLP and 3LCD technologies with respectively better contrast ratio and color impression. SXRD displays natural color as well as deep black colors without the hard "screen door" edges found in DLP yet with better color saturation than 3LCD.
30,000:1 High Contrast Ratio & Auto Iris
The improved native contrast characteristics of the three SXRD chips are dynamically enhanced by the Auto Iris function for up to a 30,000:1 contrast ratio meaning deeper blacks and a more vivid viewing experience.
Ultra Quiet Operation
The AF115 employs an ultra-quiet 21db ball-bearing fan that is virtually silent in all modes of operation. The large form-factor and ICND technology (Integrated Cooling and Noise Design) of the AF115 silences operating noise eliminating the need for sound enclosures. In fact the AF115 is the world’s quietest among 1500ANSI-Lumen projectors.
