Alltec Screens 150" Diag. (96x120) Folding Frame Screen with Wheeled Transportation Case, Video Format, Matte White Fabric

The Alltec Screens Folding Frame portable projection screen is specifically designed for large venue events, delivering larger-than-life presentations anytime and anywhere! The Alltec Screens folding frame projector screen is quick to set up and take down, assembling in just minutes without any tools. The screen frame latches together like an erector set and the fabric snaps onto the frame. The entire screen (frame and fabric) is neatly stored in a durable, wheeled carry case that can be transported in most vehicles. The image quality of the matte white fabric is nothing short of amazing and the black backing effectively filters light from behind.

Simple push buttons allow for easy height adjustment of the entire screen surface for larger applications, where additional height is needed. If being used outdoors, we recommend adequate additional restraints and weighting to be added to the base frame, with usage only during ideal non-windy weather conditions.

Alltec Screens Folding Frame Info and Specifications

    Matte White Fabric

    Viewing Angle: 110° / Gain: 1.1

Matte White - The most versatile screen fabric surface and the premier choice when ambient light is controllable. The Matte White projector screen fabric evenly distributes light over a wide viewing area, while colors remain bright and life-like, with no shifts in hue or contrast. The 110° viewing angle allows for a wide audience seating arrangement. With a Gain of 1.1, this projector screen fabric increases some of the brightness from the projection source, as long as ambient light is controlled. A black backing to the fabric is also added to retain the projected brightness.

The matte white screen surface can be easily and safely cleaned with mild soap and water. Do not use any other stronger chemical cleaners, as this may negatively affect the projection surface. The fabric surface is also flame retardant and mildew resistant.

    A True Upgrade

I have been using folding frame screens for many years. They're easy to fly with in comparison to a tripod screen. Set up time can be a bit of a problem if you're in a real time crunch, but nothing says *professional presentation* like a fixed screen on free standing legs. Comparing a tripod is like comparing a restaurant that serves with plastic forks as opposed to really nice silverware. I always get to my venues with an hour to spare, although the set up really only takes me 25-30 minutes.

The Alltec model is one the nicest I've used and it is by far the best I've used for under a grand. While I would have appreciated a heavier leg to give extra support, the T-shaped legs offered here are actually sturdier than most of the same configuration. The fabric is well made and the case is easy to lug around on wheels. I haven't yet had an issue with one of the wheels getting stuck or damage (something that I've dealt with concerning other manufacturers.)

I named this review a True Upgrade, not because it's the best screen I've used, but it's far better than the last screen I had of the same size. For the larger folding frames I use a truss style as that's all that's available. The truss style screens can cost several thousands, but for a standard snap-on design, Alltec is now my go-to choice.
