Best projector I’ve owned (read on)
OK, so yes, this is not a 1080p Projector, meaning that it does not put out the same concentration of pixels found in a true 1080p Projector. But to that I say a big "SO WHAT!"
Prior to owning the 750HD I tried many projectors which offered true 1080p resolution. What a lot of people don’t tell you is that unless your source material is 1080p, you’re PAYING A LOT OF MONEY FOR NOTHING! Using a 1080p projector without source 1080p material is like driving a race car on a residential street. Yes it’s nice to own and have the ability to shoot 1080p, but did you know that not a single DVD you own is 1080p? They are all 720p.
Now consider this, in order to get spec for spec the kind of quality you get with the 750HD in a true 1080p projector you will likely spend double or more. And if you are running DVDs as your source it’s not going to look any better, not even slightly better. Therefore, if you are not looking to spend a lot and your library is primarily DVDs, please consider saving your money. Don’t buy the Ferarri just to drive it 30mph.
