Da-Lite Parallax - Ambient Light Rejecting Fixed Frame Projection Screen
Finally. An ambient light-rejecting technology worthy of Pro AV. Introducing the latest surface from Da-Lite, which features an advanced optical lens system - Parallax - that rejects ambient light from above the screen surface. This new technology mimics the look of a television when it is on and when it is off, but without the glare from windows or lighting fixtures. The lens-like micro layers block and absorb ambient light from above the screen surface, producing a glare and speckle-free surface that achieves optimal ambient light rejection.
The Parallax ambient light rejecting screen surface comes standard with reinforced tabbed holes on all four sides that attach to the frame with elastic rings. The frame will be 3" wide x 1 5/8" deep with a tapered front edge to reduce shadows on the screen surface and will conceal holes and rings. The frame will be made of aluminum and finished with a black Pro-Trim fabric covering to enhance appearance and absorb light surrounding the viewing area. The frame will also be slip-jointed at corners and joints and come standard with wall-mounting brackets.

Parallax 0.8 Optical Lens System
Half Angle: 85° / Gain: 0.8
Ideal for Pro AV applications where ambient light can not be controlled and a fixed frame solution is preferred. The latest surface from Da-Lite, Parallax 0.8 features an advanced optical lens system that rejects ambient light from above the screen. Parallax 0.8 surface is only for use with standard throw projectors (1.5:1 throw or greater). This new technology mimics the look of a television when it is on and when it is off, but without the glare from windows or lighting fixtures. The lens-like micro layers block and absorb ambient light from above the screen surface, producing a glare and speckle-free surface that achieves optimal ambient light rejection.
Parallax screen surface can be cleaned as follows: Using a white clean cloth (100% cotton preferred) that is dampened with clean water, gently wipe the area in a horizontal direction. Do not wipe in a vertical direction or with a circular motion. Using a dry 100% cotton cloth, wipe screen surface dry in horizontal direction after each cleaning. Windex Original spray cleaner can be used on tough to clean areas.
