Thanks to the ambient light rejecting screen surface, the Spectra Vantage lets you enjoy films and TV shows any time of day. Even in well lit rooms!

This 4K surface material is formulated to sustain excellent color reproduction and contrast for enhanced picture quality in environments with little control over room lighting.

Spectra Vantage vs Matte White

The Spectra Vantage UST is 0.5 gain, ideal for UST projection in order to prevent hot-spots, negate off-axis ambient light and provide deep, dark black levels.

An ordinary matte white screen has no ambient light rejecting properties and will uniformly diffuse light in all directions.

This will result in harsh ceiling and wall reflections which will add to your environments ambient lighting, further washing out your image.

Lenticular Saw-Tooth Structure

The surface has a finely engraved, toothed structure that is engineered to redirect the light coming up from the steep angle of the UST projector and direct it outwards towards the viewers.

Non-projected ambient light is rejected from above by the top of the saw-tooth and other ambient light is absorbed by the light-absorbing coating on the other side of the toothed grid and no diffraction occurs.

Because the color reproduction of the black grid is as high as 99%, even during the day, you don’t need to close the curtains, you don’t need to turn off the lights, you can still have a saturated, richly-lit projected image.
