I have upgraded my Epson 3010 HD projector with this new Epson LS11000 4K projector and immmediately saw the improvement in quality sound and picture. The main reason I prefered this projector over Epson 5050UB was that this projector is 4K 120Hz vs 4K 60Hz and the eARC feature. eARC makes the sound just like theater and is a major upgrade in sound. I would highly recommend to go with eARC as all the new soundbars/Home theaters come with this already. When I hooked with Projector with Samsung 11.1.4 QC990 Soundbar with eARC, it blew away the quality and suddently I felt the thunder. One downside of all these upgrades was that i had to get new 4K 120Hz matching HDMI cables and even 4K Netflix account (lol), but it was all worth it. I am living the dream now.
One last thing I would mention is that ProjectorScreen customer reps were very helpful by providing me with tracking number. The Projector came with double packaging to make it safe while shipping and it requied signature while delivery which was very important for me so that the shipping company doesnt leave the package out in open/rain. They even suggested me a matching Projector screen to go along with it, which is my next thing to finish up my personal home theater.

         

I purchased my Epson LS11000 during Cyber Monday/week after cancelling purchase from another provider to Projector Screen. The switch was because of the superior deal with Projector Screen and the other provider’s inability to provide status. The Projector arrived within 5 days as promised and in good shipping condition requiring signature to ensure delivery. My installation was a bit tricky because of the location of the larger and heavier LS11000 Projector in an enclosure where the much older and smaller projector used to fit. It took me some time to get familiar with the Projector and adjusting the image and interface to my Home Theater system but fantastic once set up. The image is crystal clear with sharp colors and contrast even under high light room conditions. The improvement over the old Projector is amazing!

I had the Epson 5040UB for almost 5 years and been itching to get the LS11000 and when I saw it go on sale 3500, it was time to pull the trigger.

The colors are more vivid, picture is razor sharp and the only thing I don't like about it is switching between the lens memories take 7 seconds instead of 4 seconds, but small price to pay for the increase of PQ.

One of the most important things about the 4K format is having enough space to actually enjoy the amount of data in a 4K video.



By using a projector and shooting a much bigger image on a screen 4K has a true opportunity to shine.



This Epson projector puts out a perfect image even at 187 in diagonal.



We have found the options and flexibility for brightness control automatic focus and then shifting to be a very simple and easy projector to set up in order to get a perfect picture every time.
